Rachel Forsyth, a Michigan State-bound senior from Ann Arbor Pioneer High and the reigning Michigan Division 1 state champion, joins DyeStat editor Doug Binder to discuss competing Sunday at NXR Midwest at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Ind. Forsyth won the 2021 regional title, but was unable to compete at Nike Cross Nationals since the event was not held two years ago. Forsyth has returned this fall after battling injuries during her junior year and has remained unbeaten, including a 16:28.5 performance Nov. 4 at the Michigan International Speedway to win her second state championship in three years.
